The City of West Monroe has partnered with Atlas Community Studios to complete a feasibility study for revitalizing the privately-owned historic former First United Methodist Church in downtown West Monroe.

The project focuses on:

• Conducting in-depth research and analysis of the church and surrounding area.
• Engaging the community to gather valuable input.
• Assessing viable site reuse options.
• Crafting a practical implementation strategy with funding and operational recommendations.

Note: The property owner welcomes community input so the building and surrounding land can be reused to make downtown stronger and more vibrant. Remember, they’re listening to all ideas and suggestions, but the final reuse decision is up to the property owner.
